KMT Driving School Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions cover various aspects of engaging with KMT Driving School:

1. Cancellation Policy: Clients are required to give 24 hours notice to cancel a lesson booking, and failure to do so may result in a fee of full payment. No shows will incur the full lesson cost. In the case of the PDA being cancelled by the Department of Transport the student will be charged for the time spent with the instructor.

2. Payment: Payment can be made day before or to be made at the beginning of each session directly to the instructor.

3. Termination of Lesson: KMT Driving School reserves the right to terminate a lesson if the client's behaviour warrants it, such as reckless behaviour, failure to comply with instructions, or suspicion of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In such cases, the full fee for the lesson and/or test will be required.

4. License Responsibility: Clients must hold a current Australian Learners driving license or equivalent overseas license and carry it during lessons.

5. Lost Property: The responsibility for any personal property left in the instructor's vehicle lies with the client.

6. Liability for Traffic Infringements: KMT Driving School does not accept responsibility for traffic infringement notices incurred while students are driving.

7. Lesson Rescheduling: The school reserves the right to reschedule a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances.

8. Independent Examiners: Authorised examiners used for testing are independent of the company, and the school accepts no responsibility for the outcome of any driving assessment.

9. Vehicle Damage Responsibility: Learners using an instructor's vehicle for any driving assessment are responsible for the cost of any repairs relating to damage caused or the insurance excess applicable.

These terms aim to ensure clarity and mutual understanding between the driving school and its clients regarding their rights, responsibilities, and liabilities.
